Cars, vans, 4x4s and everything in between.
Cars
All makes and models, manual or automatic, petrol, diesel or hybrid. The bread and butter of what we do.
Vans & light commercials
Up to 3.5 tonnes. Sprinters, Transits, Vivaros, dropside pickups and the rest of the working fleet.
4x4s & SUVs
Heavier vehicles need the right equipment to recover without damaging running gear. We have it.
Automatics
Automatic gearboxes can be damaged by incorrect towing. We flatbed automatics by default for this reason.
Electric vehicles
EVs and most plug-in hybrids must be flatbed-transported. Our flatbed is sized and rated for EV recovery.
Project & non-runners
Bought a car off Facebook that won't start? We collect non-runners and deliver them to your driveway.

How quickly can you reach me in Cambridge?
Cambridge is roughly 15 to 25 minutes from our base in Ely outside of rush hour. During heavy congestion expect 35 to 50 minutes. We'll give you a realistic ETA on the phone that accounts for the time of day and current traffic.
Can you recover from a multi-storey car park?
Yes. We need to know which multi-storey and which deck so we can confirm clearance height and access. Some Cambridge multi-storeys have low headroom on upper decks that rules out flatbeds, so we bring a wheel-lift instead. Tell us the location and we'll bring the right equipment.
What if my car is in a permit-only zone or pedestrianised street?
Recovery vehicles are generally permitted to enter restricted areas to recover a stranded vehicle. We coordinate with the relevant authority where required and use the safest access route. If the area is heavily restricted, expect a slightly longer arrival time while we plan the route in.
Can you recover from a Cambridge college courtyard?
Yes. We coordinate with the porter's lodge before arrival to confirm access, vehicle dimensions and the route through. Some colleges require advance notice for vehicles over a certain size. We handle that coordination so you don't have to.
Do you cover Park & Ride sites?
All five: Trumpington, Madingley Road, Newmarket Road, Babraham Road and Milton. Park & Ride flat-battery calls are common because cars sit for a full working day in cold weather. Most of these we can resolve on site with a jump start, then advise on next steps.
How much does it cost to recover a car from Cambridge?
It depends on where in Cambridge, the time of day and the vehicle type. We quote a single figure over the phone that covers the call-out and the recovery, so you know the cost before we dispatch. Read more about hidden fees and what's worth checking before you book.
Do you do M11 motorway recovery?
Yes, J9 to J14. If you've broken down on the M11, get to the hard shoulder or an emergency refuge area, leave the vehicle and wait the other side of the barrier. Call us once you're safe. We carry the right high-vis kit and equipment for motorway recovery.
We're on the way.
