I'm Craig, the owner. Before taking on the garage, I spent over 20 years in my family's haulage business, Chris Reed Transport. Commercial vehicles taught me about hard work and honesty, but above all, the importance of vehicle safety.
In haulage there is no room for cutting corners. Roadworthiness comes first. That is exactly the attitude I have brought to Ely Motor Services. When one of our customers drives away, we want to know we have done everything properly and that the car is safe for them, their family and everyone else on the road.

It started with a conversation in an Ely pub.
It was actually in a pub in Ely that I met Reese. We got talking, got to know each other and realised we shared the same standards and the same sort of principles. He is an exceptionally talented technician who cares about doing things properly.
When I bought the business in December 2025, I brought Reese in as my top man. Since then we have been building the kind of garage that we think people should be able to trust.
